
Christina Applegate (born November 25, 1971)[1] is an American actress. As a child actor, she became famous for her role in the role of Kelly Bundy in the Fox sitcom Married... with Children (1987-1997). Applegate established a successful TV and film career during her adulthood, earning the Primetime Emmy Award from seven nominations and nominations for four Golden Globe Awards and a Tony Award. Applegate played her role as the main character of the NBC sitcom Jesse (1998-2000) in which she resulted in a Golden Globe Award nomination. She also won an Primetime Emmy Award for her guest appearance in the NBC sitcom Friends (2002-2003). The show was also nominated for the Tony Award as Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Sweet Charity (2005). Samantha Who? was her next ABC sitcom. Later, she starred on the sitcom Samantha Who of ABC (2007-2009) in which she received two Primetime Emmy Awards as well as the Golden Globe Award; the NBC sitcom Up All Night (2012) as well as the Netflix drama series Dead to Me (2019-2022) and was nominated for three Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
