
Salma Hayek Pinault, born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jamesenez on September 2, 1966, is an American and Mexican actress and producer. Her professional career began in Mexico by playing a lead role in the Telenovela Teresa (1989-1991) as in the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she received an Ariel Award nomination. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were only a few of her many Hollywood credits.
