Bellamy Young
Young's career in acting began with the theater. In 1997 she made her Broadway debut as Mary in the original actors of The Life. She appeared Off Broadway as a character in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We to Roll along (1994) and Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). 3][10] In 1995 she made her TV debut in a recurring role in the NBC daytime soap show Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. The year 1997 was the same and in 1998 she played a cameo in Law & Order, playing two different roles. Her debut on film came in 1999, with one minor part in Black and White. In subsequent years, she was featured in various independent films. In the early 2000s, she began to be an guest on a number of television dramas and comedy shows like The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Between 2000 to 2011, Young was a part of more than 30 TV programs. Young was one of the actors who appeared regularly on Peacemakers, a USA Network television series that ran from 2003 to 2004. After nine episodes, the show was cancelled after just one season. She played Deputy Dist. in The Lifetime television drama For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami between 2005 and 2006, and Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the son-in-law with the most eldest in the Darling Family. In 2011, she played a guest role as Beth Clemmons on Criminal Minds.
