Swallow's Broadway debut came in High Fidelity. There, she was in a diverse range of shows, including King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew at the Guthrie Theater; Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park. Additionally The off Broadway performances Romantic Poetry & Measure for Pleasure were given their world premieres. Swallow played her first film appearance as a character in The Lucky Ones, a 2008 military drama. Swallow has been in a variety of world premieres, including Donald Margulies' The Country House at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse; Louis Jenkins' Nice Fish in Minneapolis' Guthrie Theatre opposite Mark Rylance [citation needed] and John Patrick Shanley's Romantic Poetry in Manhattan Theater Club. The actress won the Falstaff Award for best Female Performer in 2010 for her performance as Kate In The Taming of the Shrew. Swallow as well as Jac huberman performed a Jac N Swallow stage show in New York, at both the Laurie Beeckman Theater & Joe's Pub, on December 4, 2012. The humorous adventures of the duo are the focus on the stage show. They are faced with a myriad of life challenges, all without a shred of dignity. The show is planned to develop a show inspired by the characters. It was the Guthrie Theater premiered Nice Fish in 2013 as a collaborative effort between Mark Rylance and Louis Jenkins. In 2016, Center Theatre Group cast the actress as Ayad Akhtar Disgraced. Swallow was the first actress to appear on TV in Guiding Light. Later, she starred on Southland. Ringer. The Good Wife. NCIS. Flight of the Conchords. Medium. And as Dr. Michelle Robidaux, the series regular in TNT's Monday Mornings[2]. The actress was also a part of The Mentalist, playing FBI agent Kim Fischer. The character was Amara who was the Darkness in Supernatural's 11th Season. Beginning in 2019, she was cast in the role as the Armorer on The Mandalorian, a Star Wars series The Mandalorian as the leader of the traditionalist Mandalorians. As of the show, she hasn't been able to display her image as the traditionalists will never wear their headgears. Her character appeared more prominent during Season 3 due to the fact that the plot was Mandalorian culture and people that were not only Mandalorian.
