KatePrince William and Kate Middleton first came into contact when they were in St. Andrews in 2001. Prince William was reported to have been attracted by Kate Middleton's transparent dress in a fashion-related event. In 2003, the couple had been in a relationship for a while. The following year, in St. Andrews, Middleton as well as Prince William were roommates together alongside two other students. Kate Middleton was subject to press-related harassment during this time. It led to a number of people to threaten legal action. Unknown reasons led to Kate and William divorced in the year 2007. However, shortly afterward there was speculation that they had been reunited.
