Katherine Jean Bolduan also called Kate Bolduan by professional names is a broadcast journalist from the US. Her most famous role is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning program At This Hour. She previously co-anchored CNN morning shows New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan took part in CNN's award winning coverage of the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. Bolduan has also been a correspondent for Congress based at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. As a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported about the legislative process and congressional events such as discussions to raise the limit on federal debt and the super committee deliberations. She has also served as a general assignment correspondent, covering stories such as that of the Christmas Day bombing attempt the landmark Supreme Court decision on Obamacare and the implementation of Obamacare's government s stimulus plan in 2009. She was appointed a CNN Newsource national reporter in 2007. As a CNN Newsource correspondent, she reported on breaking news as well as produced feature stories for over 800 CNN Newsource members.
