Lis Wiehl, an American writer and legal analyst who previously worked as the Fox News analyst.
Her previous position was as Assistant Professor of Law in the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries on National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She's appeared in The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File is a show with Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs and Megyn Kelly, along with the Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, and raised within Yakima within Washington State, matriculated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985 and then an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl served as a US attorney. She served as a legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as "the assistant chief investigator of Democrats within the House Judiciary Committee at the time of Clinton's Impeachment." From 1995 to 2001, she was a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl has been a Fox News analyst since 2001.
